About the Series

The Digital Age, also known as the Information Age, is a historical period that finds its origins in the mid-20th century. This age is characterized by the rapid expansion of information technology and the Internet, subsequently leading to socioeconomic transformations that have influenced how people live, communicate, work, and interact with knowledge. This season of Science on Screen presents four films to explore how digital technologies have (re)shaped daily life.
