A popular midnight movie from writer/producer/director Don Coscarelli (Phantasm film series),  Bubba Ho-Tep is a wacky horror-comedy exploring aging, regret, and redemption. At a nursing home, an aged Elvis Presley (Bruce Campbell) befriends Jack (Ossie Davis), an elderly Black man who claims to be President John F. Kennedy. When their fellow nursing home residents begin to mysteriously die, Elvis and Jack join forces to defeat Bubba Ho-Tep (Bob Ivy), an ancient Egyptian mummy hungry for souls. Selected for Ragtag Rewind by Robin LaBrunerie, longtime Ragtag Regular and Ragtag Film Society Legacy Fund Donor with Alex LaBrunerie.
