Notes from the attic: L'Atalante

We just watched L'Atalante (1934) in movie club. A new bride has trouble adjusting to life on a French river barge — full of cats and an old sea dog. Great characters and cinematography make this old classic a lot of fun to watch. Rent it from 9th Street Vid.
